Muse Monday!

It's Monday, which means it's time for Bombshell Stamps' Muse Monday, where we feature one Bombshell set per month and showcase it each Monday throughout the month!

We're featuring the Cherry Bomb set during November and it's my turn!

Here's my card!

I stamped the devil from Bombshell's Cherry Bomb set using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored him with a variety of Copic markers, which I'll list below. I coated him with a layer of Newton & Winsor Masking Liquid and let it dry.

Nestabilities Circle dies were used to cut a circle in Judikin's Eclipse tape, which was used as a reverse mask. I airbrushed a yellow circle through the aperture using Y35. Then I lifted the mask, placed the Eclipse Tape circle over the yellow, and airbrushed the piece with R24, R29, and R59.

I removed all the masks and discovered that the Liquid Mask changed the colors of my devil's face a bit, but this time, I just let it go. I highlighted the pupils of his eyes with Pitch Black Copic Spica Glitter pen and the tip of his cigarette with Lemon Copic Spica Glitter pen.

I coated the devil's horns with a rather thick coat of
Ice Silks Acrylic Glaze to make them shiny, sparkly, and dimensional. I added Black Ice Silks Acrylic Glaze to his cigarette holder and cigarette and added a bit more Lemon Copic Spica Glitter pen to the cigarette tip make it ultra sparkly. Silver Glaze pen was added to the metal part of his monocle and a nice thick coating of Glossy Accents was added to the lens.

Since the devil's in the details *wicked grin*, here's a close-up of Lucifer!

A pinked circle was die cut in a card-front sized scrap of flame-print paper from Junkitz (Remember them?) and the card was finished with a Dymo-Tape sentiment.

Thanks for visiting today!

Copic Markers used:
Skin: E000, E00, E4, E11, BV20
Horns: R14, R2, R29, R6, R89
Lens: B00, B000, BG93

  1. "The devil's in the details", I got it, I got it!!! ;^)
Well, you did a great job on Lucifer, and I'd say I love him, but that is just wrong somehow. I do love how you accented him, and I love the dramatic colors & design. :^)

  2. The glossy accents on the lens is fantastic! Great coloring and design to this card. I like how you die cut the pinked circle on the flame paper. And great sentiment!

  3. What a great way to use this stamp and the card is colored up so well. I always have trouble thinking up a way to use this image and this is so clever.
