Bright, cheerful, and somewhat useful!

It's a handled bandaid tin from ProvoCraft that's perfect to hold ATCs, gift cards, or other small goodies!

Front of tin:

Back & side of tin:

I did the Dabber paint resist technique for the big butterfly. I stamped the large butterfly from Bombshell's Butterfly Queen set with my Pearl Paint Dabber. I sponged four or five colors of Distress Ink over the butterfly, wiped it off, then and then added gemstones for the butterfly's body and stitched and added rhinestones for her antennae.

Then I stamped a bunch of butterflies in a row (I'm a Virgo, so I must have things in rows). I colored each butterfly with my Copic markers, inked them with the same colors of Distress Ink. I do love my Distress Ink. I also outlined each butterfly with grey Prismacolor marker, added glitter pen accents, and Glaze eyes. I adhered everything to the tin, then added ribbon to the lid's edge and added rhinestone borderss because I had to have some bling. It's the law.

I alcohol inked the top of the tin. I also used alcohol inks on a clear plastic Heidi Swapp letter, glued on a Pearl Dabbed charm, added a ball chain, and hung the monogram from the handle. I added three ribbons and a stacked flower to the handle to complete the tin.

Now I need to decide if I should give this to Stephanie for organizing the dt swap over at Bombshell or give it to my friend, Stacy, who loves everything orange. I'm leaning towards making a second one for Steph in "her" colors. Decisions, decisions.

Thanks for visiting today!
