Monkeyin' around!

We had a great mini-vacation in South Florida visiting a recently-refound-on-the-'net friend. We left rainy cold weather in the Northeast and arrived to warm and clear skies. It was a great break and we had a lot of fun, reminiscing, laughing, and just hanging out with our feet in the pool (great remedy for blisters btw).

I had done this card awhile back and just got around to photographing it and getting it cleaned up and loaded. No wonder "The Freshman" is such a majorly awesome procrastinator! She gets it from me.

Anyways, I found and bought this great Daisy D Sock Monkey pad specifically for this OBP stamp set. Monkey Business, Limited Edition comes in three versions, Bright Blue, Bright Green, and Vintage. The kits include different papers than what I used, but all three sets have the same unmounted sheet, different patterned papers, and embellies. They're an especially great deal now since, like all the Limited Edition kits, they're on sale now and would make wonderful Mother's Day gifts from you to you with love.

I realize there's a glare off of the Dymo tape sentiment. It says "Bananas 4 U!".

Thansk for visiting today.

  2. I love how you layered the banana papers. This is a fun card and makes me want to get those monkeys out again.

Here's a question for you: Apes eat bananas by peeling them from the blossom end. I heard it was because it prevents those yucky banana strings from clinging to the fruit. I tried it, but I still got strings. Have you done any research into this phenomena?

  3. Debbie, I read that about bananas too, but have never tried it. I also read that you're not supposed to put them in the refrigerator, but don't know if that's true or not.
