Second Peek-A-Boo card!

I created a second card for this challenge because the idea popped into my head after reading a thread about appropriateness of artwork. Being me, certain parts of the thread rankled, so since I had the perfect images to play with, I went for it and discovered a new use for old 1/16" eyelets and gold floss. *wicked grin*

The image is from the Retro Cowgirls set by Bombshell stamps. Stamped images were sent to me by the lovely Nicole, who is Miss May Bombshell! Woo-hoo!

I created the swinging doors of a Western Saloon, which showed the hat, a bit of hair, and the cowboy boots of the Retro Cowgirl. The swinging doors were made with a cut-down and altered Tag die, attached with 1/16" eyelets on QuicKutz Hinges cut from my beloved (and dwindling) supply of gold Bling FiberMark paper. Yummy stuff that is! The doors swing open to show our lovely Retro Cowgirl, who was colored with Copic markers, with a touch of gold Spica pen to add some gold highlights to her tresses, and a Pentel Metallic Marker to add gold to the stars on her bodice, boots, and her spurs. I also added 1/16" eyelets and a bit of gold metallic floss for tassels. Accessories are always so important. A touch of naughtiness is also sometimes fun.

I copped out with the sentiment because I had too many other choices running through my head. They can always be added to the interior of the card.

The patterned paper is by Flair Designs and the "Celebrations" sentiment is an old epoxy sticker from Art Warehouse. I added two gold stars and a heart to the sentiment to jazz it up a tad.

Thanks for visiting today!
