Invitation & a challenge!

Chef Priscilla has written many haute cuisine cookbooks, but her favorite way to cook is on the barbeque grill. Her 4th of July parties are legendary.

Chef Priscilla
is an Odd Bird Planet stamp. The scene was colored with Prismacolor pencils and chalk. The barbeque and the BBQ are QuicKutz die cuts. Specialty paper by FiberMark was used on the grill. The red patterned paper is Picnic Table by Flair Designs. I don't remember who made the blue paper.

Now for the challenge part. I was supposed to post a challenge and some blog candy on June 27th, but was still recuperating from the teenager's graduation. So, a bit later, but here it is.

Make a card or project with red, white, and blue in honor of July 4th. I'd like it to be summer or patriotic themed. Post your project on your blog, Splitcoast Stamper's Gallery, or
Odd Bird Planet's Gallery then link back to my blog or to this thread at Splitcoast Stampers.

You have until Wednesday, July 9th at midnight edt to post your card. You can win Brody Drummer Z, "Happy Birthday, Whimsy", and some goodies from my stash (good stuff!)

Thanks for visiting today.

  1. OMG this is super duper cute! Love the papers you used! Have a wonderful 4th!

  2. Adorable!
I hope the kitty at least gets a Tuna Steak!
Great layout--especially how you used the papers!!

  3. Love your invitation...perfect for the fourth!

  4. Missing: one chicklet on the bbq. Did Priscilla eat it already?

Very cute. Is that a QK alpha? I like it.
