I’m a crazy cat lady who collects lots of cat stamps. When I saw the Fluffy Cat Silhouette Stamp, I knew that it would work wonderfully with Nocturne VersaFine Clair to create a black silhouette, but then I thought to myself, “Self, wouldn’t it be cool if you could use Cloud White VersaMagic Ink to create a fluffy white cat like Domino, then color the foliage with Memento Markers?” Self said, “Try it. It might work”.

Instructions:
Step 1:
Use magnets and low-tack tape to secure a piece of mixed media cardstock to a magnetic page. Add a curvy piece of low-tack tape along the bottom as shown. Use a Sponge dauber to apply Danube Blue Memento Ink horizontally across a piece of Bristol paper.
Step 2:
Use temporary adhesive to secure the inked Bristol paper to a piece of scrap paper. Use magnets to secure the combined papers to the base of a stamping platform. Place the Fluffy Cat Silhouette Stamp facedown along the bottom edge of the paper. Press the platform’s lid onto the back of the stamp. Lift the lid and ink the stamp with Cloud White VersaMagic Ink. Stamp. Heat set the image. Re-ink and stamp again, heat setting after each impression, until a good image has been achieved.
Step 3:
Heat set again to make sure the VersaMagic Ink is completely dry.
Step 4:
Use a Green Memento Marker to test the white ink to make sure it’s dry and to see how it will look.
Step 5:
Continue to color the scene’s foliage, flowers, and butterflies with Memento Markers. If you don’t have all the colors (and I don’t), use other water-based markers to add additional colors. Do NOT use alcohol ink markers. You don’t want to risk ruining your artwork or your markers.
Step 6:
Trim the image panel to 3.25” x 4.75”. Use magnets to secure the image panel to the base of a stamping platform. Position the sentiment stamp from the A Purrfect Day Clear Stamp Set facedown along the top of the image panel as shown. Press the platform’s lid onto the back of the stamp, lift the lid, ink the stamp with Rainforest VersaFine Clair Ink, and stamp. Repeat if necessary to attain a good impression. Remove the image panel from the stamping platform and heat set.
Step 7:
Cut a piece of white textured cardstock to 7” x 5”. Score at 3.5” and fold to form a 3.5” x 5” card. Place a piece of scrap paper inside the card to protect it. Use a Sponge Dauber to apply Rainforest VersaFine Clair around the outer .5” perimeter of the card. Heat set.
Step 8:
Use Tear It! Tape to adhere the card front to the inked 3.5” x 7” card.
