Sun...Sea...Sand...

It's Tuesday, my day to share a project created for Topflight Stamps. This week's theme is "Anything Goes". I few weeks ago, the team showcased  PaperArtsy's wonderful mini stamps and mini stencils. I had such a great time with these little treasures that I decided to make another project, this time with a summery theme!

Stamping Platforms

Instructions:

1. Cut a piece of Kraft cardstock to 11" x 5.5". Score at 5.5" and fold to form a 5.5" square card. Set aside.
2. Secure a piece of white cardstock to the base of a stamping platform.
3. Position the sunglass gal from JOFY Mini 68 (JM68) Cling Mounted Stamp facedown approximately .75" from the base of the image panel.
4. Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the Sunglass Gal twice — once onto white cardstock and once onto repositionable sticker paper. 
5. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version and place it atop its counterpart as a mask.
6. Position the cabanas from the JOFY 16 Cling Mounted Rubber Stamp Set facedown one third-ish the way up the panel.
7. Ink the cabanas tamp with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and stamp it twice  — once onto white cardstock and once onto repositionable sticker paper. 
8. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version and place it atop its counterpart as a mask.
9. Position the cloud stamp from the JOFY Mini 65 (JM65) Cling Mounted Stamp facedown on the top left of the image panel.
10. Ink the cloud stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. and stamp it twice  — once onto white cardstock and once onto repositionable sticker paper. 
11. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version and place it atop its counterpart as a mask.
12. Thoroughly clean and dry the cloud stamp.
13. Reposition the cloud stamp facedown on the right side of the image panel, ink it with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. and stamp it twice  — once onto white cardstock and once onto repositionable sticker paper.
14. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version and place it atop its counterpart as a mask.
15. Position the happy sun stamp from the Zini Mini 55 (ZN55) Cling Mounted Stamp facedown on the image panel between the clouds, ink it with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. and stamp it twice  — once onto white cardstock and once onto repositionable sticker paper.
16. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version and place it atop its counterpart as a mask.
17. Place low-tack tape horizontally over the bottom part of the cabanas. 
18. Sponge or brush Summer Sky Memento Blue ink over the top of the tape and over the masks to create a blue sky. 
19. Move the low-tack tape to cover the top portion of the cabanas and place another piece of low-tack tape   to cover the base of the image panel. 
20. Brush or brush Desert Sand Memento Ink between the pieces of tape and over the masked images to create a sandy beach. 
21. Tear a piece of scrap cardstock and brush or sponge Desert Sand Memento Ink over the top of torn section to add detail to the beach.
22. Move the bottom piece of low-tack tape to cover the beach. 
23. Brush or Sponge Teal Zeal Ink over the tape and masked image to create the sea.
24. Remove all masks and tape from the image panel. 
25. Color the clouds, sun, cabanas, and photo-bombing Sunglass-wearing gal  with Copic markers.
26. Add silver metallic pen to the horseshoe and doorknobs of the cabanas.
27. Use the White Gelly Roll Gel pen to add a highlight to the lower lip of our gal.
28. Use the white gel pen to add dots and lines to the ocean to create sea foam. Smear with your finger, then reapply to add stronger white highlights.
29. Trim the image panel 5.175" and mat with piece of white cardstock
30. Adhere the image panel to the reserved  5.5" square Kraft card.
31. Add silver photo corners to the corners.
32. Place a piece of Kraft cardstock onto the stamping platform. 
33. Position the sentiments from the  JOFY 16 Cling Mounted Rubber Stamp Set facedown on the cardstock.
34. Ink the stamps with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink and stamp
35. Use flag dies to cut the sentiments.
36. Edge the sentiments with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink and adhere them to the card as shown.
