Hi and welcome to this stop on the Bombshell Stamps Hump Day Hop! This month, Inky/Angela has decreed that the theme would be "Alternative Medicine" -- where we were challenged to use our Bombshell Stamps to create altered and/or decorated objects.
My project is a card box that started life as a plain cardboard box that was big enough to hold 5.5" x 3.5" cards.
The Card Box
The Front of the Box
The Back of the Box
The Top of the Box
The Sides of the Box
The box was sprayed with a combination of Black Soot Distress Ink, Blue Perfect Pearls Powder, Pewter Perfect Pearls Powder (all Ranger products), and water. While that was drying, I painted the Grungeboard (Advantus) swirls (mini & regular Harlequin) and the mini-puzzle pieces with an Adirondack Gold Dabber. When the paint was dry, I dabbed Rocket Red Gold Brilliance ink (Tsukineko) lightly over to add some red tones. I also used the Gold Paint dabber to color the white and red Prima flowers and to add some gold highlights to the Scrabble® tiles and the dice.
I made the Queen of Hearts cards by stamping either the Bombshell Pin-up or the Pirate Wench over the floral swag and adding crowns stamped in Rocket Red Gold Brilliance ink (Tsukineko) to their heads. I colored both images with Copic markers, then added the "Q" with rub-ons. The heart under the "Q"s were stamped in Rocket Red Gold Brilliance ink.
I stamped a Center Pin Stripe on either side of the box and heat embossed them with Queen's Gold embossing powder (Ranger). The hearts and crowns were stamped in Rocket Red Gold Brilliance and heat embossed with Chinese Gold Embossing Powder (Ranger).
I used semi-sheer harlequin pattered ribbon with German Scrap borders (the Gold lacey foil stuff from Artchix Studio)on the side of the box's lid. I embellished the entire box with a ton of pearls (Recollections) and rhinestones (various manufacturers).
Here is a list of the stamps that I used:
• Bombshell Pin-up from the Bombshell Angel set
• Pirate Pin-Up Girl from A Pirate's Life set
• Blossom Banner from the Bombshell Angel set
• Heart from the Love & Luck set
• Crown from the Speed Shop set
• Center Pin Stripe from the Striped by Me set

Faerie Song Challenge over at Smeared & Smudged!
Faerie Song sponsored the Smeared & Smudged DT this month and is also sponsoring this month's prize challenges! Woo-hoo!
This card is for the Faerie Song Challenge. For more information and to share your Faerie Song card, click HERE!
Lately, I've been inspired by challenges from various blogs and websites and this card is no different. I used SplitCoast Stampers' Sketch 264 to design the card, though I did spin it around to make a vertical orientation.
I also met Teri's "Old Stuff" challenge. This one uses old papers from Paper Salon and Autumn Leaves. If you don't know about Teri, she's an amazingly fantabulously gifted scrapbooker, cardmaker, and papercrafter. Even better, she's one of this year's Paper Craft magazine's "Go To It" gals!
Lastly, I met Moxie Fab World's "From Start to Finish", though I finished it a day late. Bad me. If I had gotten it in on time, the card would have met FOUR challenges!!!
Here's the outside of the card:
Here's the inside:
The details: The saucy little fairy is a stamp is from Faerie Song's new Precocious Pixies plate. She was colored with Copic markers with glitter added to her wings.
The inside of the card features the "It's Fairy Nice" stamp, which you can find here.

Only a two-fer today!
This card qualifies for two challenges: SplitCoast Stampers' Sketch challenge #263 and the Start to Finish Challenge over at Moxie Fab World!
Outside of card:
Inside of card:
All stamps on the card are from Bombshell Stamps. I used the little scene and the rope from Mermaid Anchor set on the outside of the card. The inside of the card features the chain and sentiment from the Homeward Bound set as well as the anchor from the Ahoy There set.
The images were colored with Copic markers. The chain on the interior of the card was stamped with a London Fog Memento pad. I used the D'Vine Swirl Cuttlebug folder to add visual interest to the card's exterior.

Three challenges in one card!
This card qualifies for Bombshell Stamps' January Challenge hosted by our lovely Miss January, Critterlyss to create a Valentine's Day card way in advance of Valentine's Day. It also qualifies for the SplitCoast Stampers' Where's the Birdie? Challenge. Lastly, it qualifies for the Start to Finish Challenge over at Moxie Fab World!

Inside of card!
You might notice that I cased an earlier design of mine, but if you can't steal from yourself...? This one uses the swallows from the Love & Luck Set by Bombshell Stamps. The inside sentiment is computer generated with the heart stamp substituting for the "O" in Love. The images were colored with Copic markers and the patterned papers are from Basic Grey. The colors are a bit off on the inside. The inside of the card really does match the outside, since they are the same piece! Silly scanner.

Out of the mouths of babes...
My daughter took a look at this card and said, "That is SO you!". Yep. She's right!
Though mischief does come naturally to me, it sometimes aided by a wee bit of cheer and/or caffeine (interesting in combination), depending on my mood or the hour of day. I figure I'll send it as a birthday card to one of my like-minded friends!
The card features a "Ronnie" stamp from Inky Antics, the ginormous martini, and the olive from RubberNecker Stamps. I can't recall who makes the "ever-so-me" sentiment stamp. Sorry!
All images were colored with Copic markers. The patterned paper is from a pad by Inque Boutique, which is out of business. I used a Spellbinder's Nestabilities Labels Nine die for the sentiment.
The card is for the "Sassy Pants" challenge group over at Smeared & Smudged.
If you don't know about Smeared & Smudged, it's a new stamping forum that focuses on alternative art styling and unique ways to use rubber stamps. If you enjoy creating art using gothic, alternative, vintage, or out-of-the norm stamp images, you are welcome!

January Bombshell Sketch Challenge! Participate & win!!!
January Bombshell Sketch:
You can win this!
My take on the sketch:
I used Bombshell Stamps' Lady Luck set for the focal image, the banners, and the stamped inchies. All images were colored and outlined with Copic markers. The eight-ball, dice, and martini were coated with a layer of Glossy Accents to give them some dimension. The jewel and the horseshoe were also colored with Spica pen to give 'em some bling. Gotta have some bling! I masked out "Good Luck", stamped it, and then hand-lettered (poorly) "Wishes".
I also used the swirls and swooshes from Bombshell Stamps' Striped by Me set, which I heat embossed with silver embossing powder.
The other "inchies" are silver squares that I've had in my stash for eons. I think they're from Making Memories, but I tossed the packaging.
Just so that you know, Lyss, aka Ms. January, has issued her January challenge AND you can also participate in the monthly blog hop. Find out more information by visiting the Bombshell Forum by clicking HERE! Participating in the sketch, Ms. January's challenge, and/or the blog hop will enable you to win the prize pictured above.
If you want to participate in the Bombshell ATC swap, today is the last day to sign up. Go to the forum link above!
Lastly, if you'd like to be a Monthly Pin-Up for Bombshell Stamps, you still have a month to get your applications completed. Click here to be taken to Bombshell's Newsletter for more info!

Here's the sketch by the fabululous Kelli!
Here's my take on the sketch!
My card measures 5" x 7".
The Mona Lisa image is from Lost Coast Designs. The sentiment and crowns are from Cat's Life Press.
The Mona Lisa image was stamped on pink patterned paper and colored with Copic markers. The red crown patterned paper came from Terra (Thanks Terra!). The black, red, blue patterned paper is from Rusty Pickle.
The crown was repeatedly stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with Chinese Red embossing powder (Ranger), which has gold flecks in the red to add to the glitter factor. The sentiment and smaller crown were stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with Queen's Gold embossing Powder (Ranger).
Fancy borders were cut with a die(Spellbinders) from gold paper (Recollections) and layered over black glittery vellum weight paper. The gold pearls are from Michael's.

Happy New Year!
Yes, I know that 2010 started several days ago, but I've been busy and/or asleep or both. So, belated wishes for a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year and decade filled with love and laughter.
Here's a card that I made for New Year's Eve using my beloved Man's Ruin set by Bombshell Stamps! It was one of my first sets and still remains one of my favorites! It's so versatile and fun!
The image was colored with Copic markers. Stickles were added to the bubbles and the glass's rim. I used pages from an outdated Daytimer calendar, old Heidi Swapp chipboard clock, QuicKutz watch hands, and a plethora of rhinestones. The sentiment was computer generated. The navy paper that I used for the watch hands and a mat layer is a lovely deep metallic blue. I wish I knew where I got it because I'd love to have more.
