March 17th!

St. Patrick's Day is a day for parades, special foods, people dressed in green, and celebration. The beauty of it is that everyone's Irish on St. Patty's Day! I have fond memories of my first St. Patrick's Day in Chicago. I was shocked to discover that they dyed the Chicago River bright green! The streets were filled with good natured revellers, though the "L" trip home was a bit dicey.

I stamped rolling hills, colored it with watercolors, and cut it out. I chalked the sky and rainbow onto another piece of watercolor paper and printed the Irish prayer onto it. Then I put the card together.
