January Bombshell Sketch Card!

As you might know, I create the monthly sketches for Bombshell Stamps! Please feel free to use this sketch together with your Bombshell stamps to create a project, then share it with us at Bombshell's Blog and/or forum for a chance to win your choice of a free set!

Here's the sketch!

Here's my take on the sketch!

I decided to create a thank you card featuring the Pimpin' Wolf stamp from Bombshell's Sugar Daddy set. This image cracks me up and is big fun to color and paper piece, which I did in this card.

I stamped Pimpin' Wolf (his real name!) using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink a few times onto Neenah cardstock and colored with Copic markers. He was also stamped several times onto a solid fabric-printed patterned paper from the Originals 6x6 pad by Authentique, which was also colored with Copic markers. I was able to add color, shading, and shadows to the image, while retaining the texture of the printed fabric.

His head and paws were fussy cut from the Neenah cardstock, as was his suit and hat. All fussy-cut pieces were edged with black marker, then adhered over a base image, comprised of his right paw, neck, tail, and shoes.

Red Spica glitter pen
was added to his eyes to add a devilish sparkle and then coated with a layer of Glossy Accents. Clear Glaze pen was used to add dimension and shine to his nose and his shoes.

7 Gypsies clock and hand rub-ons were added to a circle die cut. The sentiment is also a rub-on from Deja Views that I've had forever and a day. The sentiment circle was mounted onto a pinked circle die cut. Plain circle aged copper brads were hammered with Tim's Tonic Texture hammer. The hammering added texture and alleviated a bit of stress. :D
