Smeared & Smudged Blog Hop!

The Smeared & Smudged Design Team members are participating in a blog hop in honor of Smeared Ink's new Fall Release. Smeared Ink's Fall release will feature five brand new rubber sets and a new line of digi images that will be available as sets or single images. They will be available in the shop on Sept 1st and rubber sets will begin shipping on Monday the 6th.

Here's my card featuring Grumpenstein and one of the sentiments in that set.

He was colored with Copic markers. His eyes were colored with Sakura Glitter pens and then coated with a layer of Glaze pen. I probably should have used Glossy Accents for more dimension, but I've had an issue with ink running from Glossy Accents lately. If you look closely, you might see some red Glaze pen in the stitches and open wounds.

I distressed the heck out of the image piece, then used Distress Inks to add some color to the background. I got a bit carried away and got some color on his neck bolts. Bad me. Staples were added to mimic his stitches.

The patterned paper is by the late lamented Flair Designs. I have a stash, so I'll keep using 'em.

Now that you've seen my monsterpiece, visit the others to see what they're sneak peeking from the new Smeared Ink release.
